What is Mediation?
Mediation is a process that involves a neutral third party mediator who helps two or more parties come to an agreement on a particular issue. Mediation is voluntary and confidential, and it is an effective way of resolving conflict without having to go to court. In mediation, the mediator is not a judge or an arbitrator; rather, he or she facilitates communication between the parties to help them come up with their own mutually acceptable solution.
